TheGearPost is a web magazine blog design which curates gadgets, gear and other gifts from across the internet and from contact form submissions.

When creating a post there are custom metaboxes. This allows the author to enter the price of the item, the link to purchase and the a source if applicable. Using the categories, each post has a section which shows related items from the website in an effort to retain visitor time on site.
TheGearPost’s WordPress theme is a child theme using the WordPress Genesis framework, and also has a responsive design for mobile users. TheGearPost also utilizes two WordPress plugins I’ve created: Ad Blocking Advisor and randomPost.
